Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions are governed by UK law.

1. SpanishHolidaysDirect.com("the site") can only be used to view or make enquiries to owners regarding holiday rental properties. Holiday makers are not charged access, and the Site can only be used to contact our advertisers regarding the suitability of their properties for a holiday rental. Use of the Site for any purpose other than research and booking of a holiday rental property is strictly prohibited.
2. SpanishHolidaysDirect.com is not a party to any rental transaction. We do not own nor can we enter into any contract concerning any property listed on the Site. Spanish Holidays Direct Ltd will not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from a contract formed with between a vistor to the Site and a property advertiser.

Accuracy of property and owner information

3. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of prices, photos or other information available on the Site. Accurate property description, prices, bookings and photos are the sole responsibility of the property owner or agent. Spanish Holidays Direct Ltd has not confirmed the price, or accuracy of each advertisement and owner, so holidaymakers are advised to make their own investigation into the authenticity of any information offered. SpanishHolidaysDirect.com is not liable for errors, inaccuracies, misleading photographs, prices, or claims, made in the information supplied by the owner, or agent, on the Site.

Terms and Conditions for Advertisers

4. Your advertisement should be accurate, and contact details kept up to date. Copy should be written in English and should not be misleading.
5. Copy may include a hyperlink to the advertisers website. However links to other sites or hidden links are not allowed and will be removed.
6. We reserve the right to edit copy for clarity and/or grammar.
7. We do not accept liability for any loss or damage caused by edited copy.
8. By uploading photos to the site, the advertiser warrants that he/she hold the intellectual property rights to the photograph, that people in the photos have given their permission for the photo to be used, and that the photo fairly represents its subject (i.e. that it has not been altered in a misleading manner).
9. You grant to us a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, unrestricted, non-exclusive, royalty-free and fully paid-up license to use, copy, license, sublicense, adapt, distribute, display, publicly perform, reproduce, transmit, modify, edit and otherwise exploit the copy and images which you post on the Site or the websites of our affiliates, and you grant Spanish Holidays Direct Ltd the ability to copyright and protect the images, copy, and content available via your listing from the unauthorized use by unaffiliated third parties. We need these rights to host and display your listing.
10. Advertisers must not ask holidaymakers to send cash, or use any instant-cash wire transfer service such as Western Union or MoneyGram in payment for all or part of a property rental transaction. Any violation of this term may result in the immediate removal of the non-conforming listing from the Site without notice to member and without refund.

Refund Policy

11. Any listing which is refused because it is unsuitable will be refunded within 7 days
12. All listings which are accepted will appear on SpanishHolidaysDirect.com for the period chosen by the advertiser. Advertisers may cancel the listing at any time, but no refunds will be given. As a business to business contract, sales of advertising are not subject to the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.

Termination of advertising

13. We reserve the right to refuse any advertisement for any reason
14. Where advertisers are in material breach of these terms, we reserve the right to terminate the advertisement without refund.
15. If we receive complaints about any advertiser for behaviour which, at our reasonable discretion, could be considered unfair to holidaymakers - such as consistent double booking of a property, or allowing a property to fall into serious disrepair - we reserve the right to terminate the advertisement without refund.
